A year and a half ago, I could have eviscerated him with my thoughts. Now I can barely hurt his feelings. Things used to be so much simpler.

Thrive to spite them

I don't know why I haven't kept up with Natter while the weather was bad

Yay Tim!

I'm so sorry msbelle.

We didn't lose power. Mom briefly did. She stayed at her house and it was fine. Work was closed last Sunday and Monday. We got hazard pay if we were scheduled. I was for Sunday. People panic bought and our shelves are bare and we are trying to get stuff back on them.. But now we will get more snow and people who normally grocery shop Sat and Sunday are doing it now. Plus some people got their monthly pay/benefits whatever and are buying . A lot of people are using grocery pick up it's crazy.

How much snow will we get tomorrow? Weather Underground says 2 inches, The Weather Channel says 1-3". Local meteorologists are saying 3-6" maybe more. But the Chief Meteorologist who was forecasting the worst for last weekend is the one saying possibly more than 6". I don't believe him. I'm off tomorrow so we will see how it goes.

The new bookstore in my parents' town that I haven't been to has a book club scheduled in March for Automatic Noodle! I love that book! I'm so excited!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh, fuck. (Catherine O'Hara. She was only 71.)

Punishingly Intricate

So shocked and sad about Catherine O’Hara

Our wings are not tired.

That is very sad to hear. She brought me many smiles. (and being 71 right now hits a different way too!)

Just saw that, I am actually shocked. And sad, of course.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I am so angry and sad.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh, fuck. (Catherine O'Hara. She was only 71.)

Ugh. I'm glad she was able to find a new audience later in her career with Schitt's Creek, but that's too young.

There was a concert where Danny Elfman led her, and Paul Reubens in a singalong from Nightmare Before Xmas reprising their work on the soundtrack. Now she and Paul are gone.

I've loved her since her SCTV days.
