Oh Msbelle I’m so sorry.

I don’t know what to do. I have always taken pets to the vet when they are at the end. It’s after dark and the roads are icy. Do I just carry her body to my car and go in the morning?
Fucking fuck fuck
I'm sorry, msbelle.
msbelle, I'm so, so sorry. Just give yourself a little bit of time here to grieve, and breathe. Do that first.
Do you have a garage? It's already 8:30 pm; you could just wrap her in a blanket or towels, and also plastic like a large trash bag, and then lay her in the garage, or in a box. I can't remember if she's a smaller dog, but a box might be very helpful. Then call your vet first thing in the morning.
So much love to you and E.
I'm so sorry, msbelle.
Carry her to your car in a towel. She'll be okay and it's very cold. And you can care for her tomorrow when it's safer. I will make any calls to see if there are services to pick her up.
I'm so sorry, msbelle. I think you can wrap her in a blanket and keep her someplace cool/cold and dry -- if your car is the only option there, then I don't see why not. This must be so hard.
And then in the morning, call/go to the vet to find out about options for her remains. I'm so sorry. How awful.
But I think the safest thing is to wait until the morning to drive anywhere.
I will make any calls to see if there are services to pick her up.
Oh, that's a good thought, Cass. I hadn't thought of that.
I wrapped her up and carried her to the car. I’ll call the vet in the morning.
Thanks all.
Oh no, msbelle. I’m so very sorry. What everyone said about tonight and you can call her vet in the morning and they’ll let you know what to do. Sending love.
You'll likely bring her to her vet and the aftercare services will pick her up from there. But they might have home services available.
I'm sorry.
