Take jobs as they come -- and we'll never be under the heel of nobody ever again. No matter how long the arm of the Alliance might get, we'll just get ourselves a little further.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies and Happy Holidays all!

Yesterday I had the day off, and got my car back from the body shop.

Not much going on here, other than Gary watching the Commanders lose.

I have tomorrow off as well, and Gary has the whole week between Xmas and New Year's off, so we will go up to get Mr. S in the morning.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aw, hearts and cherries! Bizarro Gift of the Magi with a happy ending

We had cranberry apple pie for breakfast. Not cherry but damn good.

My parents’ TV just suddenly died on Monday so we are watching football on my laptop.

I took Christmas off this year. The thought of shlepping to either of my sisters’ places didn’t excite me this year. Even if I went, it would have felt like I was just going through the motions. Instead, I’m sitting on my couch eating Chinese takeout.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Instead, I’m sitting on my couch eating Chinese takeout.

Like a real New Yorker!

One of the nice things about making a beef tenderloin filet for Xmas eve dinner, is having steak and eggs for breakfast the next morning.

This was Matilda's BF's first xmas with us, and I think he was a bit overwhelmed with the muchness of stuff.

He's a huge Spider-Man fan and I got him a cool sweater that subtly but clearly evokes Spidey.

I was gifted several gorgeous scarves.

Also a valid choice, Tom!
