Just had mine yesterday, Pix, so I am with you in the unpleasantness of the preliminary steps. The procedure itself is a piece of cake in comparison though. May yours go smoothly and come back all clear.

Apparently I went into AFib while under sedation, so I get the fun follow-up Monday with my GP and probably a referral to a cardiologist. Rats, I thought my heart health was doing pretty well, so this is new and unwelcome information.

Aw, bummer, sj. Does this mean she misses her concert?

Happy scoping, Pix. Now that the yuck part is over, it's super easy, as I'm sure you know.

Having a holiday lunch with some friends today, so that'll be fun.

DH's back thing is acting up again, so he has an appt. for Monday at 7a, where I hope they can just do another ablation right away -- technically it's an eval, but last time they did the ablation immediately. Pain go away ~ma would be welcome!

And I sent out all my "required" holiday cards. I'm sure I'll add a few, but it still feels like an accomplishment.

Well, that's a bummer. Have you ever had Afib (that you know of) before? Sending good vibes.

ETA: Oh, you kind of already answered that it's new. My bad. Still sending good vibes.

Punishingly Intricate

That’s unnerving about the AFib, Matt. (Autocorrect tried to make AFib “aging” which ha ha ha we KNOW that, universe).

We got to Michigan yesterday and are having a lovely snowy morning. Much nicer than yesterday’s cold rain.

Thanks Jen. Yeah, I never noticed any irregular rhythms previously and only racing heartbeat during strenuous exertion or panic attacks, so this is a new one on me. I felt absolutely fine and normal upon waking up, so hopefully it's not serious or having dangerous effects on my system.

Our wings are not tired.

Test~ma for all. Hope all goes well with the colonoscopies. Matt, yeah, do the tests, and find it was just a one-off related to sedation.

Hugs to ltc. It is a bad time to be out of school when they are doing the fun stuff.

I did the artery scans a couple days ago because of my crap cholesterol. I don't expect issues.
