Last night we drove out to Joshua Tree to stare at the stars. I wish we’d been there a little later (it got darker) but we are early to bed and getting home took a while. But it was still cool.
I've been hankering to see a full starry night, the whole Milky Way, without light pollution lately.

This has been a tough day, but I wanted to let everyone know that while Mom did have a little skin cancer on her hand, they are confident the doctor can remove it in the office and it's not very scary.

Basically what I've been dealing with. She's just got to be regular with the dermatologist now.
This state is a hot spot for such things--it would be helpful if there were more derms close by, though.

Yeah, about as simple as it could be for finding something.
There's certainly no "good" cancer, but there is, I think, "less bad" cancer. Hopefully that's something of a relief.
