Jayne: Here's a little concept I been workin' on. Why don't we shoot her first? Wash: It is her turn.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I want absolutely nothing to do with the brass, Karl! I don't want them to know I exist or what my name is...

Our wings are not tired.

but tomorrow I will go for a bike ride, then go wine tasting with my sister & niece, then host some friends to watch Pluribus. So not so bad tomorrow!

Sounds like a perfect way to wash off the rest of the week.

It has been an exhausting week here as well. My MIL is not doing well at all with her rehab. Non-compliant for the most part. She had surgery on the 12th and still yesterday needed 4 aides to get her from bed to a chair, and although she will stand, she won't walk. She did say she loves the bike. We go back and forth between thinking there has to be something wrong that she is still in so much pain, or that she really needs to work through the pain. She keeps talking about all the things she wants us to do to her place so she can go home, but obviously, that won't happen until she can take care of herself. In the past we have been amazed with her pain tolerance, so that leaves us confused as to why she is in such apparent distress. One day at a time.

Our wings are not tired

Just got news that a friend in the LA theatre community that I've known for years and who is a really good person passed away yesterday. He had been diagnosed a few months ago with terminal cancer that was throughout his body. It was amazing how positive he had remained and he was undergoing agressive treatment in the hope of getting some more time. He was one of the good ones. I worked with him on more than a few shows. I'm very sad to hear that he is gone.

I am really sorry for your loss, and the loss to your community.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I am continually amazed by people that can look at their lives and want more of what they already have. ETA: My point being that we feel the loss so keenly that way.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Drew, I'm so sorry. Fuck cancer.

I went to the grocery store and tapped my credit card in the correct spot on the first try. I am so proud.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I’m so sorry, Drew

Our wings are not tired.

It was such a full day yesterday that I blew my streaks! I did at least do the Wordle, but somehow managed to not do any of the others. When I looked last night, the Mini said Sunday, so I figured I must have already done them, but today I see the only one I did was Wordle. Sheesh.

Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

My condolences, ND.

Last night I baked an apple pie for my family's Thanksgiving gathering today, and by looks and scent it seems to be a success. Big improvement over last year when the pie slid off the pizza stone and splattered across my kitchen floor. (Though the kitchen did smell wonderful for a week afterwards.)
