I am having folks over for another blind apple tasting party today! Sadly I woke up feeling like shit, my muscles all hurt for no reason (why am I apparently fighting myself in my sleep?) so I still need to clean my house and go to the store in the next few hours before people come over. I do have some evercrisp apples—the cosmic crisp and honey crisp were surprise losers at the last taste testing!

There was no consensus at this party—different tastes for different people. Kanzi still ranked fairly well though people did agree that the pink lady was maybe not an exemplary version of one. We did determine that often, the texture was really all that mattered because we don’t often eat apples by themselves, and that apple, mild cheese, and coffee caramel sauce worked surprisingly well together.
