If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I wouldn't have expected anything less, but it's good to see people get theirs. I think my boss has given up on me a little since I didn't have a posse for the disability committee and ended up recruiting one of my friends who is almost a rival(Most of my disability friendships are that way, though, really. Like we all periodically discover we signed up for the same sad contest.) Now, I get calls where I get thanked a lot. Which sounds good, but really means the person wants credit for engaging without being helpful. Maybe that's why vets don't always like "Thank you for your service," either.

Our wings are not tired

Same. I wake up to raccoons on the roof pretty often, but people are a whole other level!

We have had wild peacocks on our roof.

I did not know peacocks came in wild. That's really something

Have decided to watch Twelfth Night and open a bottle of wine. Very refined, very classy.

Only now getting to Connections, but purple first

Eta and Wordle in 3! Maybe I should always do these in the evening. But that way lies missing the day entirely and breaking streaks, alas

Punishingly Intricate

We had a peacock named Romeo who hung out in the open air kitchen we had when we were staying in Hawaii in 2020. We took some great pictures of him but he was always very nosy about what we were eating!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

If I recall correctly, peacocks are also obnoxiously noisy. So it's like having a really glamorous drag queen rooster hanging around your place.

This Evercrisp is way, WAY too sweet.

Fortunately, when I combined it with some extra sharp cheddar, it fixed that problem.

It’s like being punched in the mouth by a My Little Pony.

True. My neighbor in Otter Lake has them and they do make a ruckus.

way, WAY too sweet.

Extra sharp cheddar is the appropriate solution here.
