Raise your hand if you read this in the context of zippers at first. (No? Just me then)
Oh, I definitely did.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

ha, ha...pretty funny. even if sometimes it drives me nuts how slow my typing is.
Laptop lost power during zoom call with my boss, oops. But I was able to switch over to my phone pretty quickly and now I have a charger to carry around with me and, like, 6 cables because I wasn't sure what I needed and the battery is already up to 22%. And shipped my brother and nephews cookware off to them for less money than they cost to buy, so that feels like a full day
Timelies all!
Got my COVID booster shot today. Then I ordered a spinach and mushroom calzone for dinner.(Gary's on another business trip, though a much shorter one.)
Still going to work every day, still not getting paid for it. sigh...
The zipper article is oddly fascinating. I wish they'd had photos of garments with the new zipper.
I’m really looking forward to seeing them when they’re in stores
Today's Spelling Bee is making me feel like I forgot how to use letters. I am stuck on 16 out of 36 words, no pangrams. Come on, brain!
Unrelated, but we are totally caught up on Midnight Burger and Welcome to the Horizon, and all I can say is holy shit, EVIL Leif ?!?!?
Spelling Bee was more challenging than usual, I thought. I did, however, get Wordle in ONE, which will likely never happen again, although I will change my starter word just in case. Perfect on Strands, Phew! on Connections, but came in under goal on the Letter Box. All in all, I am going to count it as a good brain day. (Bombed on my Hurdle on the last challenge, boo)
Wordle in two for me, Laura. High five! And purple first for Connections, always fun. Spelling Bee is pretty tough, I am currently stalled at 23 with one pangram (I was stoked when I got it and baffled that there is apparently another one…)
Disturbed by the MB whitefont. Expecting to finish season 3 this coming week
The new zipper YKK just developed has our family all abuzz.
I'm very curious about how it attaches. I'm guessing it's only possible with the specific industrial machine they developed, so not for home projects. edit - Or I could've just watched this video. [link]
