My Buffista Secret Santa gift arrived, and it is AWESOME! I got it on Monday, and I had had a terrible, very Monday-ish Monday, so it was wonderful to come home to my present--from Jesse!
It included so many things that are basically perfect: a reusable lunch bag that says, "Smash the garlic AND THE PATRIARCHY!", a cool pair of socks that say "Making a fucking difference" on them, a magnet with a vintage picture of a group of people posing after going sledding that says "You have friends and you know it." (Which I have hanging up over my desk at work right now), a ceramic shot glass that says, "My Body, My Choice" on it, a tiny bottle of maple syrup, a ginger-flavored dark chocolate bar ("Wicked Dark"), and some chocolate covered blueberries.

Yay! And wow, that was fast -- I mailed it on Saturday.
And I came home to a box of treats from NYC!! Amazing-looking hot cocoa, almond cranberry chocolate clusters, fig meyer lemon honey preserve, a lavender candle, AND a Buffy coloring book AND the Hamil-Stitch "Immigrants/We Get the Job Done" print!!!

Just ordered a couple of other things for my giftee yesterday, so I'm assuming it won't ship until after Christmas. But not as delayed as last year's (sorry again, Jess!)

Oh yay, that was fast! The candle is lotion! (Light it, let it melt to the edges of the tin, and then you can dip a finger in and massage the oil into your hands.)
