If you take sexual advantage of her, you're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters and people who talk at the theater.

Goodbye and Good Riddance 2018: The Real Bad Place Was The Friends We Made Along The Way

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Thanksgivukkahmas, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering.

Go away, 2018. You have a lot to turn around, 2019. Be a Good Place.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

ask, I'm so proud of your progress. I'm glad things are moving in a direction that makes you happy.

Fred, so much love and strength to you. I hope that 2019 brings you even more clarity, and a measure of contentment.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

askye and Fred, I can only echo the wise words above. It hasn't been an easy path but you've both made your way on your own terms.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Fred, that's a lot. I'm glad you're looking after yourself.

This year started for me on safari in Tanzania, followed by climbing one of the 7 summits with much of my family. It's been a year of establishing new routines in light of my father and BIL's deaths. I haven't been as good a friend as I would like to be, and I have not built much in the way of new relationships: most of my emotional energy has been dedicated to family, and to supporting my sister.

I would like for that to change.

But it hasn't been a bad year; my health is good, the dog's health is good after a cancer scare last spring, the rest of the family is doing well. I think I need to identify some long-term goals, and that's something to work on.

I can't even.

Thinking of you Fred, you've been carrying a big load. Some unwind time is definitely in order.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Fred, that's a freaking whole lot. So much love and ~ma, and bravo for doing what is good for you.

Thrive to spite them

Fred that is a lot. I hope that 2019 is good to you and your cats.

Thank you all for your support and encouragement. I sometimes get frustrated that this didn't happen sooner but I'm glad it happened. Learning to like myself is by far the hardest thing I've done and am still doing but that has been the key to this.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

It's been a big year for me. Got married in July, so the immediate family and some of the extended were out for that. And, being worried that I'd have free time or some such nonsense, I've started gestating a human, who should be done in early June.

We put our odds on the calendar in DND format, and we're almost at "as long as we don't roll a critical miss on 1d100," and we had a good check up today, so I'm temporarily not worrying too much.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

That's wonderful news, Debet! Congratulations!
