Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Thanksgivukkahmas, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering.
Go away, 2018. You have a lot to turn around, 2019. Be a Good Place.
I hope your healing goes swiftly and smoothly and your World Cup trip is as awesome as it sounds like it would have to be to me, meara!
I think I'm not going to sum up my 2018. A bunch of stuff happened, no overarching direction or narrative throughline, though.
I have been thoroughly Secret-Santa'd with an additional box that contained all kinds of amazing goodies. Lotions and soaps and lip balms and little Altoids and a sheet mask and sunscreen and a WONDER WOMAN water bottle and chocolate and a thumb drive with music!
Thank you, msbelle, for such thoughtful gifts, especially during such a hectic time of year.
YAY! sorry it was late.
The soaps were in bags to try and keep them from infecting the chocolate with their scent. I realize I put no info regarding the music on the thumb drive did I? I think it is just a spattering of randomness.
No label on the thumb drive, so it was a delightful surprise.
Dear ones, I just received my box from Santa. There are many lovely things in the box, and I am overwhelmed with love.
PS to my Santee, my apologies for lateness but the thing does exist and will be in the mail soon (Monday unless life gets weirder).
Me too! And after being cooped up for a week in crazy cold the moisturizing masks are perfect!
Life did indeed get weirder. Snowpocalypse Now got to me badly. However that may be, the package is now in the hands of the US Postal Service.
Okay! So, after many shenanigans with the USPS and re-delivery and general ridiculousness, I have received my Secret Santa package, and it is wonderful! Thank you so much, Andi! The otter promptly got claimed by Peanut, and I had to sneak the angel, the pen, AND the necklace away from her, thieving minx. I love the smell of the soap (and the crocheted bag it came in), the honey will be perfect in my afternoon chai, and I love the book! (The Tea Dragon Society.) What a wonderful, thoughtful mix of gifts. Thank you!
Wonderful, Juliana! I went with a lot of "I would love this for myself, therefore it must be a good prezzie" choices. The soap and the honey came from our winter farmer's market. I crocheted the soap bag myself, with cotton yarn. I am not surprised that Peanut ended up with the otter, but the pen, the necklace and the angel were gotten with you in mind. The Tea Dragon Society book, I bought because I loved the web comic, and just knew it needed to be shared.
