Jayne: Captain, can you stop her from bein' cheerful, please? Mal: I don't believe there is a power in the 'verse that can stop Kaylee from being cheerful. Sometimes you just wanna duct tape her mouth and dump her in the hold for a month.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm so sorry, Fred.

I'm sorry, Fred. Two is not a bad number of cats to have because then you have room for more when they come to your door asking for help.

My sympathies, also, to all with health or family health issues. I know the frustration and stress that can cause for all concerned.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm sorry Fred. It's harder when "your" cat leaves.

Good thoughts to sick and injured parents and Buffistas.

A sharp jerk on the choke chain of normal public behavior to US citizens, including Tribblehead in chief.

Aside from general assault on the planet, I'm sitting in stupor due to Bears Ears and DAPL right now, and the fact that the rain forest is Brazil's (and their current president's to sell off, of course) not the world's.

I'ma be under the front porch with the dogs. Fleas are better than people today.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Rosemary is home! And seems to be feeling much better, though she hasn't tried the stairs yet (I think she's delaying as long as possible, but it's her knee, so.)

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

~ma to all for the myriad shift.

I heard about Giroy this morning with a sad side of knowing some people won't even notice it happened.

And the train wreck in DC travels on. *sigh*

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I have a very Buffista problem. I want to get someone a personalized gift, and I found the perfect one in the perfect color, but I don't like the font that they use for the personalization, and that's the only one they have. So, better font, but wrong color, or right color and okay font.

It should probably be noted that the recipient won't be as picky about the font. I mean, it's not like it's Comic Sans or anything.

That is a very Buffista problem and I hear you because I would have that pain too

Our wings are not tired.

Sometimes we have to put others needs above our own, but dude, bad fonts could be the exception.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Woke up at 6:45. Why? No good reason. You win this round, body.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't sleep that well with my noisy air-conditioner on, but I think it would be worse with it off! Bleh.
