Good Lord, Meara!
I'm guessing you're probably short on sleep too.
You're not wrong. My body has decided that insomnia is a great idea.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Surely you're not Capital T!
Well, that's true. But hearing the words in my head as I read the email, it sure sounded like he was talking to me!
Oh, meara. Bad communication, mom of meara!
That's a lot, shrift. Cocooning with Queer Eye seems like a reasonable course of action whenever you can manage it. Yay e-books!
The Target on the way home of my work commute didn't have everything I needed, because it's a stupid small Target. But I refrained from buying mozzarella cheese sticks, and I am awarding myself a gold star for that.
Yikes, meara! That would be very upsetting.
shrift, I hope you got some good rest last night. Drop everything unessential for the rest of the week for sure. Also, gold stars!
DH is on a fishing boat with nephews today on Lake Ontario. They went out at 6AM. Not sure what the temperature was because it was in the 40s here when I got up!
Man, I haven't been here since May!
Hello people! It's good to see you. Topic Cindy - I hope your son is improving.
I am relishing our cooler less humid weather this week after the hell of last week. Has the shift in weather hit most of the country yet? I recall looking at a weather map last Tuesday and seeing that almost the entire continental US was hot pink - and where it wasn't hot pink it was a deep red. Is this what we have to look forward to now?
I am still enjoying the library - despite the ways that some people have of confirming that humans are crazy (i.e., the guys that almost got into a fist fight right by the circ desk. . . not teens or children: adult men.)
I did a Stitch Box - and purchased everything in it. This is a huge step in the right direction for me as I really loved the clothing and I really hate shopping. It actually fit. . . and looked good. And now that you don't have to have a monthly subscription I can actually afford the occasional treat of new clothes delivered to me that I may or may not purchase.
Haven't watched the new Veronica Mars yet - sadly, I will have to watch it on my phone as that is where I can have Hulu. (Unless, I can get that old Apple TV I got handed down to me to work.)
sumi! Hi sumi!
Ooh, I didn't know Stitch Box had switched from subscription only. That's interesting. I got a couple boxes from them a while back and liked the stuff they sent me, but dealing with the subscription was Too Much
I stopped using Stitch Fix when I decided I had enough clothes, but I was always able to put my subscription on hold indefinitely.
Apparently, I needed a lot of rest last night. Fell asleep in a chair around 9pm, then went to bed after a brief awakening and slept through til 8 this morning. At least I got one humdinger of a dream out of it, featuring one of my best friends from high school, an Alien Nation type setting, an identity theft caper, and my girl cat's missing papa as the alien in charge of a high-tech clinic/spa where the caper went down.
May I share a wild story? [link]
Whoa, that reminds me of the Victoria Bitter saga.
Geography note on that wild story -- the hardware store where he met Maria-Pia is close by Jesse's house (and mine, and Jon's). And a bunch of other places mentioned are also well known by all of us.
