I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sure this was only my routine for a couple of years, but I 100% believe that the 4th of July is for watching Wimbledon and then Law & Order.

I used to do Breakfast at Wimbledon for the 4th of July. I didn't do it ironically, but it always kinda seemed intrinsically ironic. I thought about it on Thursday but didn't have the energy.

I hope you have a good safe word picked out, Jesse. Appropriate to the setting and such.

I was coming in here to wail that the aluminum tariffs are forcing price increases on our Bacon Grease Cans, woe! What a strange sentence to think and have make sense.

Coco is literally all I have heard about Wimbledon and that was like a week ago? Days and days, anyway.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It is literally the middle of Wimbledon.

Yikes, Hec. Congrats on not hurting yourself more.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

People buy Bacon Grease Cans?? What a world.

I don't know that I ever thought of that! But yes.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hec! Yikes!

I always wonder, when things are named like that (or have suggestive logos, or whatever), is there NO ONE who looked at the name and said, "This might not be the best choice because of other connotations"? Or maybe that person exists but got overruled.

SAME. (More likely, someone noticed but decided it was funny and should stay.)

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oof, Hec. Keep that shoulder moving some so you're not extra stiff tomorrow.

Hec, glad it wasn't worse! I join in the ice for the achy bits recommendation. It might help.

And, for your SF-related interests, it seems that the Salesforce Transit Center has been nominated for an international architectural award. I think it was based on looks, rather than performance.

They are some of our top sellers! Ayesha Curry's line. I guess she's a big proponent of bacon? They are actually really cute and come in different colors; I have a few so I can keep my saved fat color coded. I think most people use them more for decor and holding pens and the like. [link]

OK, those are cute, and I can see using them for decor. But actual bacon fat just goes in a leftover can!

Those are cute ... I remember my mother had one - an old one - that was aluminium or something. It may have been something she got when she was married (in 1949) or it had been HER mother's. As far as I know, my sister still has it and may still use it.
