Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ugh, pink eye is terrible! The last time I had it, I got it accompanying my friend's children to the doctor. They did not have pink eye, but I'm sure I picked it up in the office!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ugh, pink eye is terrible!

It fucking is! Anyway, it's markedly better this morning so I'm hoping I wake up tomorrow with clear sclera.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Much surgery~ma to your uncle, sj.

Pink eye sucks. I managed to make it 51 years without having it, only to succumb this past spring.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Surgery~ma

I have running water and do not have pink eye, so I guess I am ahead of the game this morning. I am at work, which seems to be neutral?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Jess that sucks about the kiddo but yay not having to treat it yourself?

Definite yay. And I saw some pics of her at the weekly Sunday night camp shindig, so it looks like they let her out of the infirmary pretty quickly.

Hope all goes well with your uncle, sj.

Pinkeye is worse than lice.

I am back at work today also, and it's fine, I guess? But "I'd rather be paddling" is more or less my default whether I've recently taken a vacation or not.

Our wings are not tired.

Surgery~ma.

I used to get pink eye too often when I wore contacts, which means anytime more than once in a lifetime qualifies as too often. Awful stuff.

DH has gone to the city to get electrical parts to set up a charging port for my car here, and plumbing parts for the winter destruction. He took a bit more time making his list because going to the store for that kind of stuff is 50 miles each way and not like home where you can have a 5 trips to the hardware store project without it being a biggee.

I set up Skinner's kennel thinking he would feel more at home with his safe place, but he has opted to curl up in Zoe's old bed which was here instead. So that is super sweet. Big goofy guy does not get the whole stairs concept very well. He is going up and down the 4 steps into the house now, awkwardly, but just looks at me like I am nuts when I suggest he go up to the bedrooms on the second floor. Getting him to do those, and getting him to jump into the car or truck is high on the project list.
