I take CBD gummies; for me, it's had a huge effect on pain/inflammation and a noticeable effect on anxiety -- not enough to keep me from flipping out in my head altogether if there's something specific I'm fixating on, but enough to chill out a lot of the free-floating stuff-buzzing-around-that-I-can't-even-place-what-I'm-being-anxious-about-now thoughts. Anecdotal, but certainly worth a try. I read something the other day (and can't find it now) reporting on a study that indicated that lowish doses are good for anxiety but raising the dose beyond a certain point made it worse, which matches what Calli experience -- so start with a little and play with your dose from there.

Utah "approved" medicinal marijuana and they're leisurely discussing how things will be available. CBD is supposed to be available, but I'm worried if there's casual observation of those locations like there sometimes is at the state liquor stores. The Mormon Church really detests allowing liquor and "drugs" to be available without strict control.
CBD isn't supposed to be available in Ohio except at medical marijuana dispensaries (and there are just a handful of those), but I've heard that there are some stores selling it anyway. But it is legal to sell in Kentucky, and I can drive to Kentucky in like ten minutes, so I've been thinking about trying it.
Timelies all!

Pretty sure that's sleeping late for any parent.
Though there was a stretch in Emmett's late teens where he preferred getting 14 hours of sleep a night.
I've tried CBD (you can get it at lots of health food stores etc here in The People's Republic) but alas didn't have much effect at all that I could tell. Good way to spend $70 on a small bottle, though.
I just was chatting about medical marijuana with a fandom friend who's a regulatory attorney; she says that the studies really aren't in to support CBD for anything other than epilepsy. Which doesn't mean it can't work, but there's not a lot of scientific evidence yet.
But the big issue she mentioned was that because of the incredibly uncertain regulatory situation, there's no guarantee at the moment that you're actually getting CBD and if so how much, especially if you buy it online. So... be careful?
Utah is a headquarters for weird supplements and essential oils, as well as fraud and MLM, so I'm leery of trying to get CBD anywhere around here.
Yes, getting actual CBD oil at the dosage claimed can be a challenge. I get mine from a local store where I trust their supplement buyer (for no apparent reason other than that the store has been selling various supplements for years and seem to be doing it well?).
ETA: never has my tag line been more appropriate.
The stuff I bought is Hempsy brand. [link]
