Might be going to a big public display tomorrow. Depends on if the kids want to go to one.
Just got a message that we're being let out early today. Works out well as I feel like I'm ahead anyhow, despite taking a couple of breaks to play some solitaire. Our computers are locked down pretty well and I'm not allowed solitaire, but I'm allowed a java compiler.

We will be sitting on the patios at home and watching whatever fireworks we can see over the San Fernando Valley. Friends are coming over and we will grill things and have drinks. We should be able to see the Universal Studios fireworks in the distance on the far rim of the valley, and we know there will be lots of random fireworks going off all over the place. I don't think there will be any major shows directly in our near field of vision.

The fireworks are two blocks from my apartment this year. I can't see them from my apartment because it's facing the wrong way, and we don't have roof access.
(I don't really like fireworks shows anyway. Bah, humbug).
