"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Excellent news, and good work, Laura!

Well done, Todd.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Toddson, hero to skirt-wearing women everywhere. That's totally one of those things that way too many men never think about. Let alone how anyone with certain kinds of physical disabilities will handle a high backless stool.

brillig

I have walked out of places that only had high stools for seating. But I was probably not their preferred clientele anyway.

Way to go, Toddson!

My lien release letter from Toyota is finally on its way! Getting to someone who could help me took FOREVER going through all the automated trees that couldn't find me because I don't have an active account but once I got to an actual person she was able to find my information immediately. Hooray! In approximately two weeks I can finally donate my poor old bedraggled 2001 Corolla. It's the only care I've ever bought from a dealer with financing and everything, and it's been through some stuff with me, so I will miss it, but getting it running well would not be anything like cost effective. Capital Radio can figure it out.

In other news, damn, renal support cat food is expensive.

-t, don't invest too heavily in renal support cat food until you're sure your cat will eat it. None of mine ever would. I ended up just focusing on getting something in them that they'd eat and hoping for the best.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

No kidding. We fed Slinky canned Royal Canin renal support food for 2 years. Glad we had those 2 years with her, but that food is expensive. And I don't miss making those trips out of the way to PetSmart to get the food.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay, Laura!

My vet gave me a sampler pack to try first, and Pixie was happy to eat all the flavors - liked it better than her regular food. She only eats about a tablespoon at a time if I'm lucky and persistent, so it's pretty likely she'll never actually finish this order of food, but I gotta give her the best shot I can. She's started declining faster the last couple months, poor thing, so I need to ramp up the pampering.

I'm glad she is willing to eat it. I ended giving mine meat baby foods as about the only thing they'd eat. Good luck with Pixie.
