Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Got a call from the daycare today. Mr. S was hitting, spitting and throwing things again, and the suggested methods weren't working. So he can't go back there. I'm rather upset, and don't know what we'll do. (Well, we'll probably have to hire someone from the nanny agency for the rest of the summer, which will add up quickly. sigh)

Very diplomatic and crafty, Sparky!!

I am going through all my photos from France....I took too many photos (I mean, it was 2 weeks, but still, 2000 photos is too many! Many were duplicates to get better angles/light/etc, but still!)

Our wings are not tired.

I'm sorry, Sheryl. My son Brendon was kicked out of a couple pre-Ks. Actually it was a bit of a joke among friends when he was kicked out of St. Joseph's. My company had done the entire computer lab for the school because we had friends with a child there. So we enrolled him after he was kicked out of the first pre-K. They still kicked him out. After it happened SEVERAL of our friends told us how either they were kicked out of St. Joe's, or knew someone who was. It was like a badge of honor or something. Trust me, it didn't seem funny at the time.

I really hope you find a good solution, and quickly!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Oh, Sheryl! I'm so sorry. How frustrating. I hope you find a good solution.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh no, Sheryl! That sounds difficult. I'm sorry.

"I hope you've enjoyed this year as much as I have!"

That is brilliant.

Our wings are not tired.

Adulting achieved. Had blood drawn at 8AM, and got the Shingrix vaccine. The phlebotomist at my PCP office is the best. He did tell me I have to get the 2nd shingles shot again in the fall. Boo. To celebrate getting my blood taken I stopped at Dunkin and got a cholesterol filled sandwich. Really hoping my diligence the past months shows up in my results. Digits crossed.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

He did tell me I have to get the 2nd shingles shot again in the fall. Boo.

Didn't you explain to them how much you dislike shots?

Laura, good luck with the test results.
