I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I've waited to long to eat and now I am hungry and unable to make any decisions and I need to just go take a bath and put in a face mask or something.

I think the news is making me too anxious to function well. I tried to go spend some money today (on stuff I am out of) but was thwarted at every turn - things no longer in stock - store close - blah blah.

ok - surely I have enough fat stored on my body to go without a full dinner (I had a bowl of fruit). I'm gonna attempt some decompression.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We spent all day yesterday cleaning the house, all day today cooking and doing errands, and tomorrow we're having family over for our belated Father's Day brunch. So tired.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I should have spent today working in the yard and cleaning the house but I was tired and it's hot (down to 88 now) so I spent the day reading instead. And tomorrow's the Sonoma County Fair, so I'll have to squeeze any cleaning etc around that. Ah well, so it goes.

Our wings are not tired.

I hope you were able to get some good sleep, sj. I worry about you doing too much while still sick. Try and delegate as much as possible. And enjoy the brunch!

I've been avoiding chores. Basic animal care and dishes has been about it.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPH!!!!

Thanks, Laura. I didn't sleep very well, but ltc goes back to camp tomorrow and then my nieces are coming over to watch ltc in the afternoon. So, I should get plenty of rest. And we're making enough food today that dinner this week shouldn't be a problem.

What is even happening?

Happy Birthday, Steph!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Thanks, folks!!! So far, so good. I have iced coffee and it's actually a sunny day, which is amazing after the seemingly endless rain here.

We get to go meet the 5-day-old new great-niece today, and then dinner at my mom's. Also presents from Tim (I assume, since he's currently shuffling around mysteriously in the office).
