I have no idea how anyone is managing to function.
Good question. How are we functioning? I used to watch news while I was waiting for various processes to run while working. Now I use sudoku, solitaire, mahjong, and that type of thing to fill the short wait times. I'm reading a lot more and watching more fictional tv too.
If I didn't have plans with a friend, I would leave work right now and go home, but she hasn't actually confirmed that we're on and I feel like she might cancel. I wish she would! But of course spending time with friends is a good idea, too....
TCG bought me tickets to see Rachel Bloom from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend doing stand up! It's a birthday gift, even though the show isn't until October.

And we just got sent home. I'll take it.
Huh. My little waterfront is getting a second hotel. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Welp, guess that's enough cooling off. Just got copied on the "we quit" email to the restaurant. So that's the end of that.
First day of tech, 11:15pm and we just hit "Gary, Indiana". That's a cruel earworm to end on.
False alarm! It was just a mic check!
I ate dinner (surprisingly delicious tacos) in Gary, Indiana the other day and have been stuck since.
