I just read an article from the U news site that doesn't use pronouns at all for one of the students quoted/profiled, and it makes me wonder! Like, does that person not use pronouns at all? Or is that person transitioning but their (it's too hard not to use a person's name OR any pronouns!) family doesn't know it? I bet most people reading the article wouldn't even notice.

I am at a fancy resort in Oregon, courtesy of my husband's profession. Usually spouses are not invited to these model launches, but this one is about how easy it is to tow stuff with the new Chevy truck line, so they used us as examples. I got to drive a truck with a huge trailer though an obstacle course yesterday! Today, he is off at a presentation about the technical aspects of the trucks and then a long drive while I have the day to slounge. Since school ended Friday, the timing could not be better.
Ooh, nice one, Scrappy! How did the rest of the year go for you?
That is interesting, Jesse. I don't know if I would notice.
Sweet, Scrappy! Btw, I really enjoyed your hubby's article on his road trip with his brother. I read a lot of his auto stuff, but that one was really heartwarming.
I am a totally unproductive person today. Like just as lazy as all my snoozing animals. I think I might give up and read.
The year was mixed. I LOVED working with the young ASD adults in the transitions program. Best lob I've ever had. And I enjoyed a lot of the work with middle schoolers I've been doing the last three months. However, I don't think one of the two faculty at the middle school thought I was competent. I was one on one with the most difficult kid in the program—one who constantly tried to leave school, who regularly hit or grabbed us. He was a tough customer to deal with. We finally had to limit him to the classroom for lunch, since he kept trying to run out of the cafeteria and we did not have enough staff to guard all doors. She never had me on lunch duty with him, which put a burden on the other parapros. It bothered me a lot, but there's nothing I can do about it. They are losing pupils next year, so I won't be back there anyway.
I had a busy morning driving. Today a lot of stuff is closed (like libraries!) because of Bunker Hill Day, which is pretty much not a Thing except in the Greater Camberville Area. Traffic was bad (Red Line still having problems) but not so much that I couldn't get around.
I hope a good position is forthcoming for the next year, Scrappy. A good fit is so important.
My plans for being north for the 4th of July have changed. Got a notice that I have to go to court on the 3rd here. Civic duty stuff since I witnessed a car accident. Accident was right in front of me so I really had to stick around and give my info.

Greater Charlestown??
Boy, I am living my best life these past few weeks. Up at 3AM with food poisoning. I don't get it often, but I really, really hate vomiting, so I was locked in a battle with my body from then until about 11AM when I finally felt well enough to come downstairs. Muscle aches too, which made it hard to get any sleep.
Clearly, I have irritated a higher-scale deity than Thespis.
Oh jeez, Dana! It's really been one thing after another for you.
