I was just about to say...PLOT TWIST, Tom is an evil genius. I did not see that coming.
I got in a little early, was SUPER EFFECTIVE for an hour, just had my one meeting of the day, and now I feel like I'm done. This may be an issue!

I didn't even think of that!
I have some other stuff to do, but I might go take a little walk outside first.
It is a beautiful, sunny day here. Not too hot, not terribly humid, and I'm working at home with the windows open. My cat has informed me that doing things on a computer instead of taking him for a walk outside is a terrible choice and I should be ashamed for making it. In rebuttal, I say, kibble ain't free little dude.
Kpop is *melting down* with career-ending scandals, people, it's a hot mess, but it has brought me word-related joy despite it all. Lots of people talking about kpop in English online do so despite English not being their first language. Yesterday I saw the beautiful sentence "They are using Hanbin as an escape goat" and today brought me "goatscapes".
ESCAPE GOAT
I would expect a goatscape to look something like this.
TIL the English word scapegoat was invented by Tyndale in 1530 to translate a Hebrew word that appears in the Bible (meaning... scapegoat, in the context of drawing lots regarding actual goats; a goat was selected to bear the burden of people's bad actions and was sent off into the wilderness). It's in Leviticus. "And Aaron cast lottes ouer the .ij. gootes: one lotte for the Lorde, and another for a scapegoote."
Poor goats.
Moving papers from one place to another counts as organizing stuff, right?
