I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, Shir!

I wish it were warmer here—I packed for 75-85 like the forecast said. Instead it's been 65 max, and rainy, and my one long sleeve shirt and two pairs of pants are getting old while my cute shorts and tank tops are just useless weight to carry around. Boo!

Oh, that does suck.

I was up for a while in the middle of the night because my cat sounded like he was dying! I think in fact he was just sneezing? But it was very disconcerting. He seems fine in general.

Best of luck Shir!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I was a little worried about my cats because they never came in from the garage and demanded dinner last night, but I didn't want to get up and go look for them because the heat had sapped all my energy so I figured they were just sprawled on the relatively cool concrete out there. They did meow demandingly when I went out this morning, so I fed them breakfast out there.

That's pretty cool, Laura! Literally, for once.

I hope the climate matches your clothes for some of your trip, meara!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I went for a follow up with my doctor today. She was very unhappy with my lungs still. So, she gave me a nebulizer treatment and prescriptions for another round of steroids and a second inhaler.

Our wings are not tired.

~ma, Shir. Let us know how it goes.

I'm sorry you didn't get a better update, sj. Pneumonia can be really persistent so do whatever it takes!

Thanks, Laura. At least ltc has camp next week. I plan on taking her in and napping until I pick her up.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I am at a virtual job fair. Hard to decide if I hate it more than an in-person job fair, or just the same amount.

Yeah, there's a threshold of hate for stuff like that that is easily met and beyond which comparisons are not very meaningful. Good luck, Dana.

I hope camp allows you to rest and heal, sj

I hate everyone. Trying not to let that leak out onto people too much, but ugh, enough with the asking me to do stuff!

brillig

I hate everyone too. Fortunately I'm two and a half days away from a week off.

I also hate everyone. Along with job fairs. Got the COBRA signup done, though, so that's something.
