this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I also saw a bumper sticker that read SOMETIMES I STRUGGLE WITH MY DEMONS, BUT SOMETIMES WE SNUGGLE.

I can't stop reading Good Omens fic, so that made me snort with laughter.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

t whine

I had a pint of coffee ice cream for breakfast, which is not the smartest breakfast I ever had, but I had my reasons and figured I could have an early and more reasonable lunch. Of course, I got busy catching up on work from my couple of days being out, and left it too late to go out and pick up lunch before my last 3 hour session of this course so I was resigned to the vending machine. Which ate my $2 and gave me nothing. I was able to get a refund from facilities and tried a difference vending machine so now I have a bag of Cheetos and a Diet Dr Pepper to see me through to 4pm. I guess I should be grateful that Flamin' Hot Cheetos were not the only option.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Sorry to everyone who's having problems. I was happy to sleep in my bed last night, complete with air conditioning we could control. I woke up around 3AM, read for a little bit, and went back to sleep until 8.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm at the US-Thailand match, it starts in a few minutes!

Yell and misbehave like a proper American tourist!

It's about to storm here, which is nice. I like rain. I've blown through several books in the past week, which is awesome, but has an undesired result. My eyes are taking a super long time to adjust to normal distances after reading. So I can't just read a bit, then do work on my computer, back and forth. Don't know when my eyes decided to be less cooperative. This getting old thing is stupid.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

They've been doing repairs on the garage I normally use at work the last couple weeks. That involves closing off parts of a couple levels, leading to the garage filling up earlier. Sometimes I get there and can do stacked parking. Other days, like today, I end up in the garage a couple blocks away. A bit annoying.

Yes, it is likely getting a bit warm for a long trek.

I have an appt with the nutritionist tomorrow and the last week I have eaten all kinds of crap because I haven't felt good. Oh well. Nothing I can do about it now.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I can just alternate eating tossed salad and ice cream all summer, right? That'll cover my food groups and stuff? Man, even cheese is too heavy right now.

Routine dentist appt today, made an appt for some work in...3 weeks. And tomorrow is rheumatologist appointment. I need to make other calls, but uhg.

Our wings are not tired.

I hope the rheumatologist has good ideas for you.

Found out today I am spending Father's Day weekend going to a basketball tournament in Ft Myers. I'll be transporting 3 of the players in my little car. Young men love my car so I'll use the auto pilot and stuff for them. For most of the 3 hour drive each way they will probably be on their phones so I will then go to podcasts. I'll visit with my siblings during most of the actual games.

Ahahaha, just got home, and my apartment is actually a little hotter today than it was yesterday.

I'm going to the store for ice cream.
