Thanks, Atropa. I'll let her know. I think she's upset from me being so sick lately.
I hope JZ and Matilda have a great time.
So far so good! Last seen they were picking cherries from off the front porch.
I gave Matilda three dictates: (a) try every food proffered with at least one bite; if you hate it, that's enough. If it's just different then take two bites; (b) help clean up because she's staying with family; (c) put your phone down and interact with the family.
She texted me this morning that she had already tried something new to eat and cleaned up their bedroom while JZ was sleeping. Then she insisted that I praise her, which I did.
Timelies all!
It's Friday. whee.
I envy the trip to Greece.

In my extended family, we call that a "no, thank you" portion.

Good for them! Good for you! Good for her!
I envy the trip to Greece.
Me too, big time.
The trip to Greece sounds lovely, and good advice, Hec.
Welcome to the world, Samuel Thomas! Congrats, Debet!
Bon Voyage, JZ and M!
Welcome to the world, Samuel Thomas, and Congrats Debet! Lots of health, joy, and sleeping hours to all of you.
Happy birthday, dcp!
JZ and Matilda are going to Greece?
Buffistas are now geographically close to me! Have fun!
I wanted to do stuff today but my body declared downtime. Figures as it's the weekend after Pride on Thursday (I helped with accessibility again. Proud to say that it might have taken three years and 20 minutes of me convincing police and production to do things, but for the first time this year we've had an accessible path from the opening point for people to join the march itself. While we should have had that accessible path in past years as well [were promised so by police and production], the combination of terrible structural planning in Jerusalem and over 2500 stressed cops with intelligence on individuals who are trying to hurt participants in not an easy one to add accessibility to), and also 6 hours of parents yesterday.
Yes, maybe I should rest for a few hours today.
Congrats on getting some accessibility going, Shir!
I'm so jealous about the Greece trip. I hope JZ and Matilda have a lovely time.
