Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

How can we know what arriving really means, if you think about it?

...no, just kidding, that's some bullshit.

So my friends are having a baby shower and all the cute stuff (and most of everything) from their registry has already been purchased, so that means I can do what I want, right??

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yes, Jesse, go mad with the buying power.

The latest is: It was supposed to be on the flight from Dulles, but it wasn't for some reason, and they don't know what happens next.

Our wings are not tired.

Clothes would be helpful.

Back from beach cleanup. It was hot. Nap time.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh dear lord, Dana. Argh.

What is even happening?

Oh, Dana, I'm sorry. I wish you didn't have to think about anything more than performing and what to eat.

You know I wonder how much it would cost to ship some of your clothes back in TX to you in Europe.

I don't know about one's own clothes, but generally speaking it is illegal to ship shoes from the US to Italy. My daughter worked at a UPS store, and that was one of the odd facts I learned.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Checking in from beautiful Galway, where it is either raining or sunny from moment to moment and either way is very very windy. We had a busy 2 days in Dublin and walked many thousands of steps all over the city. I think I may have already hit my limit for pub chips. But not for Irish whiskey...

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I miss Ireland. The exciting weather, the pub food, the whiskey... the everything.

Hello World Travelers!

I took a nap! A couple hours! Not a normal thing for me, but the sun kicked my butt. Drinking a cup of coffee now, also not normal. Maybe productivity will happen.

Thrive to spite them

Dana that really sucks.

Last night Matthew and I had a very nice dinner and had Reisling with dessert. He liked it so much we picked up a bottle at the wine bar near the restaurant and a bottle of mead.

Today at Costco we also got another Reisling and a rose. We also had to get wineglasses and a cork screw and bottle stoppers. We found some stemless wine glasses at a store that were cat related. I know stemless isn't the best for white wine but the traditional ones seem more of a risk of being knocked over by the cats.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Back from the Folk Festival. Tired now.
