I managed to turn off my alarm this morning and then fall back asleep until 3 minutes before my teleconference with my boss. Yikes! My last day at work!!! And she sprung a "can we do your mid-year review while we are at it before you go?" On me without preparation (or coffee!). But now I am just needing to send approximately 1 million email forwards to someone who is taking over and hope they can figure out the mess

Speaking of last days, it's the goodbye-and-good-luck party for our departing Managing Director today. I kinda want to go, not least because party on company time never happens and I want to take advantage, but it's at the other site and I don't really want to drive that far, especially knowing the traffic is always bad coming back. Still a couple of hours to decide, I guess.

Mr. S fell off the couch and hit his head on the tv stand yesterday. Got a nice bruise on his forehead, but seems fine otherwise.
Has anybody heard from sj? It's not like she doesn't have Mr. Teacup to watch out for her, but I'd like to know that it's all OK now.
