Oh & I put down a section of stripper on the front porch floor, so I need to take that up in the evening...

I'm pretty sure I will. Mom fucking wrote it down so she'll remember. She never remembers to write anything down (which also probably means she didn't need to write it down, so. Memory crap is so arbitrary.)
The thing with RA making my hands weak right now is also a player. I can put in my bedroom ac. I say that with certainty. The other one? I'm going to need help this year. I HATE that. And while I can hope it gets better once I get treatment, it fucking scares me.
Do it!
Theodosia, may I recommend a mail basket? It gives it a home, at least.
It's not like she doesn't have a dozen mail-sized Amazon boxes sitting near her chair, either. Harumph.
Just discovered that the reason my toast wasn't toasting in a reasonable amount of time was that the toaster oven temperature had been set down to 150F. I asked her if there was a reason for it, and she disclaimed all knowledge of how it could have happened. rolls eyes
Back to work. Ugh. Wish me few calls.
Ha, Theodosia. It sounds like she has successfully transitioned from someone causing worry to someone causing irritation again.
Wonderful to hear you are back in the swim again, sarameg. I hope today goes easier than expected. Central air will be really cool, in more ways than one.
Well, still have power, but also thunderstorms just moved through, so work is probably rescheduled. As is Pumpkin's vet appointment., which screws up my plans for the day.

We have one by the door and all the mail still gets chucked onto whatever available surface is closest. (Which you would think would be the mail basket by the door! But!)
I definitely occasionally have to move the pile of mail from next to the basket to into the basket, don't get me wrong. But then it's in the basket! So neat! (NB: It's not even technically a basket.)
We could use a place for mail. I generally don't have time to process it during the week, so it piles up fast on various horizontal surfaces.
