I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Aw, Scrappy. That sounds like a tough day. Taking a couple of days before jumping back in to short term sounds really smart.

Actually also taking a sick day - cocooned in blankets watching Marvelous Mrs Maisel just like I wanted. If only some soup and toast would magically appear

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Scrappy, good luck with your next assignment.

-t that sounds lovely.

I'm watching a movie while ltc is at school. This afternoon is our last day with her sitter, and I wish I had an answer to how to have more energy.

Coding and Sleeping

Sorry, Scrappy.

It feels like everything in my life is on fire right now.

Good luck scrappy!

I've been off work a week and a half but doesn't count. But I feel like I'm wasting precious time off—type A much? "I should be catching up on good tv series! Or learning to knit! Or doing chair yoga!"

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

I scheduled two weeks off at the beginning of December, because I'll lose time if I don't take it, but I have no idea what I should do with it.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Gud, make time to take care of yourself.

Relaxation guided meditations, meara?

Such freedom, Tom! Jelly

Owwww. I hate being broken. And I hate having to inject myself with blood thinner, it hurts. And I don't reallt want to go back to work at all, but can't really justify that just because of a broken ankle, when I work from home! I just want to whine and complain, today :(

Our wings are not tired.

I know the classroom management part of it was also a big contributor and I will have to work at that harder, but the lack of administrative support is a big issue.

Responsibility without control sucks. Administration and teachers not working together is rather similar to parents not working together, imo.

Gud, make time to take care of yourself.

Yes. You can't take care of others if you don't take care of yourself first. Kind of like the flight attendant instructions to put your mask on first, then help others.

Think warm sunny Florida. (I am so predictable)

I'll probably be heading back to Florida this weekend since it is becoming an issue keeping the inside warm enough here. Snow forecast has moved to Sunday, but I don't think I should stay another week just for the fun of seeing Zoe's reaction.
