Kids these days have all the cool db tools we only dreamed of, when we pushed data uphill both ways.
OTOH, making a website used to be just creating a few html files and throwing them up on a server with some images. Now it's like: create your package configuration for your dependencies and build scrips, create your webpack configuration for deployment, create your babel configuration for your transpilation, create your eslint configuration to keep your code in order, create your test configuration, create your stylelint configuration, configure your .env files to prepare your environment, and then you are ready to get started.
Hey I have Monday off because of Memorial Day. I haven't have memorial day off in quite awhile.
It's 99F outside (after 6PM, yay climate), and for some reason my colleagues thought they should turn the AC off on their way out, while I am still here and very much would like the AC on, thank you. Why.
Gud, awesome sword!
Yeah, basically to drive the car, you have to build the engine from several different DIY kits...

Cool. I think she'll like it. I'm thinking about making a distressed wood box to package it in. I think I have enough scrap wood that it wouldn't cost anything and I've been wanting a simple wood-working project anyhow.
I was late for work on my bosses first day back in weeks. Oppps.
It's all fine, but kinda stupid on my part. I just could. Not. Get. Up. So tired and full of don't wanna. I am yawning nonstop at work which is annoying.
I am dealing with travel shenanigans and I haven't even gotten any coffee yet.
I've been dealing with some insomnia. Basically, managed four hours of sleep Monday night, three hours of sleep Tuesday night, and two hours of sleep last night. I'm proving very susceptible to spacing out.
I'm glad you're getting a long weekend then -- lack of sleep leads to things like traffic accidents!
Speaking of which -- I had a spectacularly bad night last night with multiple bathroom trips, enough that I can truly say that I am definitely Not Full of It. I can't think of any I ate that was on the Bad list, or in fact anything out of the ordinary for the past week, but oh well.
Aw, Theo, hope that doesn't last.
I heard about the MO weather on the radio while I was out picking up lunch - stay safe aurelia's people and Midwestern-istas! Yikes.
