I live in the house I grew up in, thanks to Mom never moving, me moving back in when her health started getting bad, and inheriting. It's got a lot of weird feelings tied up in it, since being in my childhood bedroom, with my childhood stuff, is kinda complicated. But hey, also the only way I could afford property in Southern California, so there's that.
And living alone, the dishes sit until I feel like moving them. When anyone else is staying with me, I'm much more conscientious about moving them to the dishwasher.

We're going to go to Maine this summer with the kids and I hope to go by the house I lived in from ages 6-10. When we lived there I clearly remember an adult showing up and knocking on the door and saying she'd lived there as a child and lived in California now, so I kind of like the idea of doing that to someone else.

Just created (with some help from the Internet) a generic React component to confirm navigating away from page with unsaved changes with a custom confirmation dialog. I've also created a generic module for auto-generating sagas to use with React + Redux (without help from the Internet). I feel like I'm putting some cool stuff into this project.
