Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Jesse, a friend I've known for nearly 30 years transitioned a few years ago, and I'm still stumbling over pronouns now and again, although at least I get his "new" name right most of the time. I can only hope it's easier with someone that I've not had so much history with!

The good part of working from home is I was able to take my migraine pill, take an hour nap, and feel better and return to work.

I stopped at McDonald's to use the WiFi before going somewhere else...since when are value meals $10?!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Your resume shouldn't be double-spaced, Theo. And two pages is fine!

Yeah, I think I'll be fine in person, but screw up constantly in my head for a while. If I can keep it mostly that way, I'll call it a win.

Also, that is not a value, meara!

Recruiters tell me that number of pages isn't really a big deal anymore and generally more is better.

Couple of cosmetic issues, but I think I can fix them up. For $2,500 it's not bad at all.

Sorry for the curt reply earlier, work is bonkers & I'm kinda reluctantly coming to terms with this. Past 6 months, I've had progressive, fucking shocking joint pain. Knees first, then feet, fingers, wrists. The hands really have knocked me down every which way, because it was too painful to swim & then everything at work piled up, so even good days, I was putting in extra hours. Losing that routine for whatever reason was bad, and didn't help. Everything points to rheumatoid arthritis- my mom got hit with it in her 20s. Once I got over denial (not really, still hoping) started the go-see-a-fucking-Dr-ball.

And that's where I am. Making rheumatologist appt tomorrow because I have to work 4-midnight & didn't have the chance the last 2 days. So.
