I really don't think I want to work for Amazon. Not that they're offering at the moment, but if I don't want to work for them, there's no point in applying.
Totally respect this, but the corporate culture varies widely by division so if there's any specific roles you want more info on I might be able to help.
Yeah being in Seattle I've obviously know. A lot of people who work for Amazon. Some hate it, some love it?
Thanks, Jessica. It's for the Web Services side, if that means anything.
Aww, Tim Conway died. He made me laugh aloud often.
That just sucked all the fun out of the air. My sense of humor is gasping like a fish out of water.
Timelies all!
Another minor annoyance- the stitches holding one end of my purse strap on to the purse broke, which makes it not so useful. It's not that old of a purse, either. Now I have to buy a new one.
I am so sorry, Matt.
I really dislike the smell of new mulch -- they have to be using some sort of commercial perfume, because it's so consistent.
I think it is like new car smell, because I am OK with the smell of barns, and the animal poop we used as a kid to fertilize the garden. Mulch is repulsive.
I find the smell of fresh horse poop very appealing. But I love the smell of dank stone cellars, too.
I find a lot of bad smells OK or at least tolerable, maybe because of my job working on costumes. I find fake good smells intolerable, and they make my nose sting and itch. And I like general "barn" smell quite a bit. I also like dank dirt/stone cellars. Please save me from Febreze.
Fake floral smell is nauseating.
Sheryl, can you take the purse to a shoe repair shop? Surely they could stitch the strap back on for you.
