I miss Oz. He'd get it. He wouldn't say anything, but he'd get it.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have a friend Arthur whose husband calls him Arch sometimes, which I had never really thought about!

Y'all my brand new boss (as in I'd spoken to her all if twice—I was just transferred to her two weeks ago) fought for me and they approved me to take a long leave of absence (unpaid) rather than quit!! : o

brillig

Yay, meara!

IOworkNews, they decided I don't need monthly quality coaching meetings for the time being. My numbers have been at top of the range for ages, and the QA people keep saying "Oh, hi, it's our monthly chat opportunity, and keep up the good work." I guess the Powers decided not to waste the time anymore.

Also, I had the usual "Here's the state of you" meeting with my supervisor, who was pushing the "You could be solidly in the Exceeds Expectations category if you did X and Y." I baffled him by saying "But I don't want to be in the top 5%, I just want to come in and help our customers and do a good job."

I'm tired of supervisors treating "Meets Expectations" as some sort of fault.
