Thanks Aurelia, I'll try that! I've been playing a lot of solitaire and am about to sign up for some additional tv/streaming services I think...get into some awful reality tv shows maybe?

I also submitted a personal ad on this Instagram personals thing. Who knows when it will get posted but I asked for cute people to send me pics or meet :)

brillig

I have to say, the method of cleaning your microwave by heating up water and letting it sit is nigh on miraculous. I need to stop cleaning the kitchen so I can cook dinner before D&D tonight.

Right? It works like some spooky magic. It took our microwave from Seriously This Should Be Nuked From Orbit and turned it into a regular nonscary microwave.

Nuking vinegar or lemon juice in the water also works wonders.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I like nuking half a lemon. After you let it sit you can use the lemon itself to scrub any stubborn bits.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

And if you sprinkle coarse salt on the area and then scrub with half a lemon? Magic. This is how I scrub my wooden cutting boards.

Hi. I'm ignorant about this method and would love to hear more about it.

Shir. You just put whatever liquid you're using in a bowl in the microwave and microwave it for a few minutes. And then wipe down the steamy microwave which becomes magically clean. Just be careful not to burn yourself.

My sitter just gave notice because she got a fancy promotion at her other job. I knew this was a possibility but ugh. ltc is going to be so upset.
