No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, that sounds promising, msbelle.

Fingers crossed msbelle! I'd think staff there are used to his sort of nonsense and maybe can handle it better/help him want to be helped more.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

A week? Wow -- that would be excellent, if so.

Maybe what he really needs is a win or two in his column by his own initiative. I am so crossing my fingers.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

msbelle, that's really good news!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

msbelle, that sounds promising. Keeping my fingers crossed that it works out.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So you know how I'm annoyed about this church committee? I think I can actually do a good job with it and it might make me more effective at work. So that's something.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac might be done with high school. He may have completed 2 sections of art in 1 day. yes, you read that correctly. I have to confirm on Monday.

1 thing done, new sets of anxieties for him to now face. He was not even pleased or happy when I picked him up and has already left the house for the evening even though I turned on his wifi for the first time all week.

oh well like I said. 1 thing done.

Our wings are not tired.

Good morning Natter! I have been fairly productive so far this morning. Woke at 6:30 and read some in bed, then I got my ass in gear and went to BJs to get provisions before it got too hot. Had to give some bucks to the Fire/EMS guys on the corner because it was 90 out and they were all dressed in their gear! Well, mid 80s, but it says feels like 93 on my weather site. Stupid humid today.

Yesterday was 'add back fish' day in the elimination diet that I have been enduring the past month. I've missed the fishies so much! To celebrate DH took me to the best fish joint around. The Fish House is located in a back alley where no one would ever find it. Maybe 6 tables and a bar. You see fishermen in there still wearing their rubber boots. They will cook your catch if you bring it in. Seriously the best fish around.

Anyway, the point of this story, there was a few minutes wait so we chatted outside with another couple. They started the conversation asking if we were local, probably knowing that just about anyone that knows the place is there would be local. Then we were called inside. Got to the table and it was a 4 person table so DH went back out and asked if they wanted to join us. They agreed. The waitress thanked us for filling the table. Then we enjoyed a nice dinner making new friends. So that was cool.
