Arrrgh.
Things are settled OK in my family right now, so I'll send all the ~ma for that to msbelle.
And I'm settled OK into the new apartment(I'd been at the previous one about 20 years before the fire, as the previous conversation reminded me) so things should be looking up....
when I get a call from the insurance, saying that the moving-and-cleaning company invoiced them not only for more than the coverage limit(which didn't seem stingy to me) but for pushing twice that amount.
And I've been staring at this invoice, trying to figure out where to start, if I should talk to the agent that recommended them or what. Does anyone have experience disputing this sort of thing?
yay, Gray Cat! Now, stop worrying your human!
Oh no, chris! I have no idea of what you can do about that, but what a nasty surprise!
At the post-layoff career development intro session thing. It's not too bad, except I'm already tired of tech writer jokes.
I really want to edit their Powerpoint. They're using an en dash instead of a hyphen.
I really almost said something, but decided it would be obnoxious.
On hold with my insurance company asking about a measles booster shot, since I only got one shot and am about to travel overseas. This is taking a while. You would think it would be in everyone's best interest for me to not get measles.
I decided that sending my cousin flowers is just as good as actually going to her play, and am feeling pretty good about that decision!
