Rosemary actually has a visiting PT person here when you asked that, downstairs. Though they're mostly at the "asking all the questions" stage when I passed by.

Those cardiac rehab people really know what they are doing ime. Second hand, but still.
A month or so ago my mom signed us up for a 5k that happens tomorrow. Yesterday she asked if I still was up for it and I was all "sure, it'll be fun" but now I kinda wish I'd bailed. Not so much because I don't want to do the race as that knowing how early I'll have to get up and get ready is weighing heavily on me right at the moment. And I can't have an It's-It when I'm done because Passover!
I got a haircut today at a new salon, with a new stylist, and we talked about environmental justice, and Amy Adams, and bad Boston accents. It was nice, and the haircut was pretty good, so I'll probably go back.
My regular stylist, who I've been seeing since about 2000, has cancelled about half the appointments I've made in the last year. So I clearly need a backup.
tomorrow I will see Endgame, have managed to avoid spoilers.
Anyway, today was pretty good. I took the dog for a run in the redwoods, and did some laundry and called for an earthquake insurance quote (expensive!), got a haircut and a massage and a cannoli, and then went out with my sister to watch the Warriors game at a local Mexican bar. Apparently 2 margaritas is about 1/3 too much margarita. Whoops.
Retroactive hugs to Amy for the phone call, and hugs to msbelle for a whole bunch of things. seeing endgame today after looking through the mountain of work I have to do and deciding I need a rest day or I'll go splat again.
BTW I have the best cousin, you guys. You may know her.
Thanks for the sympathy for the phone call! It sort of rolls off my back, though -- these are, first and foremost, upset people who have lost someone, so even when it's a little startling, it's usually mostly understandable. It's harder when it's the funeral directors who are being dicks.
I did have a call from a guy who *had* to be drunk last night (very slurry), and wanted to know how he could arrange to bring his young daughter in to view a dead body so she could "see what can happen to people." That was eyebrow-raising. A+ parenting, my dude.
Oh dear lord on the dude parenting.
Oh my.
Race was actually very pleasant once I managed to get myself dressed and got some food and coffee in me. Going to a choral concert in a couple of hours
mac left yesterday around 7 without a word and no contact since. I did a half assed tossing of his room, but I think if he has any drugs he is carrying them with him at all times.
I did get all the food items and dishes out of his room at least.
If I get all the housecleaning done that I want to I might clean his bathroom just because it is so gross.
Timelies all!
I'll be so glad when Passover is over. First thing? Pizza.
