I will say that Moby Dick: The Opera! was probably one of the better new opera compositions that SFO has produced. Along with, oddly enough, Dolores Claiborne. New England writers make good opera?

I called the dealership to set up an appointment to bring my car in. They couldn't find it in the system. WTF? (Gary's car, also bought there, was in the system) They also didn't have any appointments Saturday morning, so I have to get up early to drop it off Friday morning, and leave work early to get it in time to pick up Mr. S before daycare closes.
One aggravation after another..

Me to lady in purchasing: You set me this Company Name invoice to pay off a 2010 PO. Your note say "Do GR on this PO" It is doc #XXXX in my cockpit.
Her: huh? what was the PO?
me: PO# XXXXXXX
Her: yeah that PO is closed
Me inside voice - NO SHIT, it was from 2010! Me on IM: yeah, I know. I'll receive on the 2019 PO and then should I just send it on to the process with a comment of the correct PO #?
Her: hmmm? I do not see a PO for 2019...hm
Me: The PO for 2019 is XXXXX. I wrote it and it's name is "2019 Company Name PO"
Her: OH! huh. Yeah so receive it on that PO then.
She also commented on another invoice sent to me "goods received #XXXX on date", but there had been no goods receiver done yet. On that one I added the comment "I have no idea what she is talking about or what that # is. I received on this today against PO XXXXX."
I have no idea how this woman has a job - she is constantly doing seemingly braindead stuff like this.

This is not shaping up to be a good day. I'm going to a funeral for my best friend's mom this afternoon, during which it will be storming, and forgot to bring my dress shoes to the office. Just found out really bad news about a relative's health. And I got a call yesterday from the therapist I'm being switched to—previous therapist did not notify me that I was being traded.
