I mean, the population at my public school was Catholic enough that I can basically tell you who wasn't Catholic in my class (me, one Greek Orthodox, one Jehovah's Witness, one Sikh, and I guess some non-church-goers.)

I used to get Good Friday / Easter Monday off when I worked at the BBC (because the UK office was closed), but that was a while ago. The kids are off for spring break, but that's been true all week!
I find it kind of weird that we are closed for Good Friday, honestly, but I'll take the day off.
Yeah, we got the whole week off when I was in school.
waves hi from just (literally) off the road from book tour... dipping back in here quick to request some non-specific all-clear testing ~ma because bodies, man.
I also find it weird we get Good Friday off (or as its officially known at my company "spring holiday" (which happens to always be Good Friday)). Normally there's a local dance convention that is this weekend so I eagerly embrace having the day off, but I'm not going this year.
Estate Sale again today. Very slow on sales, but decent flow of people.
This is school vacation week here because it's the third week of April -- it feels like it hardly ever coincides with Easter.
Schedules! So interesting!!
In RI we always had Good Friday off and it coincided with April break whenever possible.
Packed and headed to Mom's for the weekend.
Yeah, the good Spring breaks were the ones the week after Easter because we'd get Good Friday plus a whole week.
~ma for hippocampus.
