'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'll also note that the Spanish for meat, tomato, lettuce and bread isn't exactly Level 201, although I don't know if that includes 'bacon' or not.

Hey. New board.

Pretty sure it's "bacon" in Spanish. It is in portuguese.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You can also use lunchar (to lunch) in at least some Spanish-speaking places, so I guess English takes over when the concept is pretty American.

In other news, I just ran into a former coworker on the street, and I know I know her, but still have basically no idea who she is! Good times.

Hey. New board.

In Brazil, a cheeseburger is called a XBurger, pronounced "shees boerger" because that is how you pronounce that letter.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'll assert that while a club sandwich is structurally complicated when compared to other sandwiches, it is also a longstanding member of sandwich canon and should not be difficult to order or execute in either Spanish or English.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Yes, this, and it's not like it has eighteen steps.

Being mildly face blind means I *never* recognize people out of context. So I try to be vaguely polite to everyone and hope there's a clue in the conversation before it becomes embarrassing.
