I'm so sorry,Cindy, that sounds like an epically hard time.
Ha, Dana!
I'm getting my haircut and reblued for the first time since...October? The pile of trimmed hair was the size of a small dog.
Making up songs is an excellent coping mechanism, msbelle. For my personal values of "excellent ", anyway.
I'm filled with awwwwww. One of the kids DH coached, who graduated with Brendon, just sent me a video clip of him proposing to his girlfriend via text. Then texted I'd better come to the wedding. Like I would miss it.
Kids may be frustrating, but they often grow up to be really sweet adults.
I send mostly wordless support for msbelle and Cindy.
Cindy, I'm sorry. That would grind anyone down. I hope there is some respite soon.
I continue to boggle at mac's lack of comprehension about what his life is going to be like very shortly. It's not as if you were coy about it.

I expect it is a combination of complete inability to comprehend future consequences of actions, and not believing mom means it. Oh, child.
Here's a tiny bit of Good News (tm): Rosemary got moved to a cardiac rehab hospital, so she's in a more copacetic place where she can recover and be exercised until she can climb 13 steps and come home!
Note that previous to the operation, 13 steps was a major chore for her (bad knees and yes, exhaustion brought on by leaky heart valve).
She'll also be allowed to wear normal clothes, so I'm bringing her a bag of pajamas and so on tomorrow.
Sending massive coping vibes to Cindy and msbelle.
In celebrating small victories. Mac attended all 4 classes today and was not even tardy once. First time that has happened all week.
The bar is so low it is more of a tiny road bump.
(Jotting that down for future lyric in my musical)
