I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

So interesting thing about the 529 money my brother and I (mostly my brother, like I have a few hundred and he has more than mac would need) saved - it can be used for anyone's education. So theoretically I could use it to get a second BA in something that would boost my job getting ease or could even get like several certificates in things for the same purpose.

While I am not keen on going back to school, I am also not keen on facing a job market in a new to me city at 50. So I am thinking on that. If people have thoughts of specific certificates or Associate degrees that are in high demand, hit me up. I am thinking that I might see about doing an online course this summer to test the waters of my spoon-having abilities to take this on.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Today, I am sorry you all do not have a job like mine -- I went on my work walk, and got gelato on the way back! Ahhhh.

I mean, now I have to ask someone to get his shit together, but other than that!

I went by the hospital to see Rosemary, who is in a private room (non-ICU) on the cardiac floor, and looking pretty good considering she had open-heart surgery last Friday! She's still got her port attached if an IV is needed, and some cardiac patch stuff on, but she's not otherwise hooked up to anything.

Still don't know when she'll be allowed to come home -- some kind of rehab stay is needed, because she has to be able to climb the 13 steps up to the second floor here, but at least Progress Is Being Made.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Glad to hear that, Theo!

Damn, our Managing Director is resigning. He'll be gone end of May. This should be interesting.

That's awesome, Jesse! I should try to do that more often, but have been hampered of late by winter and my stupid broken ankle.

Msbelle you should totally go back to school if you want or can find an angle you'd like!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow, that's great, Theo. I'm assuming she has the right kind of coverage for all of this!

She was employed by MIT for 25 years, so she's covered under a very generous plan, thank goodness. She still gets her primary care at the MIT Health Center.

Our wings are not tired.

That makes such a difference, Theo. Good to hear she is recovering well.

I put up some pictures of the new doggo on FB. [link] He is doing great.

brillig

Between my company insurance and Medicare, Hubby was 147% covered, which was a hell of a relief when the medical bills passed the $500,000 mark and kept going.
