Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Our wings are not tired.

I've talked with people in stores pretty frequently. I'm apparently approachable, probably because I smile at strangers. DH is worse because he is such an extrovert he just talks to everyone everywhere! Not in a flirtatious way, but is just super friendly.

So, I am getting another dobie from a Florida rescue. It will be my third doberman so I told DH I want to name her Trinity. First because she is the third, but also because she will surely be a kickass bitch! She is only 2 so it will be good for upping our walking levels, which we both need.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I look forward to meeting Trinity (even in photo form!)

Our wings are not tired.

She is living in Lake Placid FL right now so we are headed out shortly to pick her up. It is 3 hours away. The rescue approved us remotely because we already had been approved when we got Zoe about 7 years ago from the Fort Lauderdale dobie rescue. That and they checked out her FB page and knew Zoe was well loved and that this would be a good home.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay rescues!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Welcome, Trinity!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

that's a great name for a dobie, Laura -- since I think of Trinity as sleek and dark, like a dobie.

My rescue is anxious for me to get off the couch, since I spent all day yesterday in my pjs with a cold. I do feel better this morning, and she really needs a walk. So as soon as I finish this cup of faux-chai (black tea with some chai spice, honey, and milk) I will take her out. It's a beautiful sunny day, and I'm a bit bummed I was too sick to go skiing this weekend, but I'm glad my sister went anyway without me.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I need to put this somewhere just to get it out of my head.

E was not in his room when I just went to tell him I am headed out. His phone shows he is home, but he is not. He did not answer a phone call.

This is not out of nowhere - he spent Friday night out. I thought with a friend I have met, but instead with a friend I have not met and whose parents I have not met and who I already expressed that I did not want E hanging out at their house until I met them. Then he stayed out the rest of the day, part of which was at an apartment complex where I know of noone that he knows. No messages to me the entire day, At 10pm I start texting him because he should be home and I get no response. I locate hime outside the mall on the tracker and go pick him up. He was dropped there by friends on the plan of "going to see a movie" alone? he never goes to movies alone? also at 10pm? when I expect him home no later than 10:30.

so it is not out of no where. He is mad at me for "tracking his every move" and "needing to no everyone".

I have turned off data on his phone so if nothing else he will probably text me angry about that.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Ugh, msbelle. None of that is fun.

Has anyone used Shipt delivery from Target? I'm guessing that I should have a tip ready for the delivery person?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sorry, msbelle.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm sorry, msbelle.

I've used it a couple times. It's a good service. You can tip through the app; after the delivery is made, you get a rating screen where you can leave feedback and tip.
