Timelies all!
It doesn't help that Gary has an in-town meeting yesterday, today and tomorrow that starts at 8, so I have to get Mr. S dressed and to the bus on time.(Also, yesterday's meeting included a dinner, so I had to put him to bed, which is always a thrill.)
You are not wrong about that, Tep.
Ugh, what a tough situation, Steph.
In dessert news, I poached some pears in red wine the other night, and then cooked down the wine into syrup, which I just ate over ice cream, and it was DELICIOUS. Recommend!
Oooh, that sounds good. I am finally leaving work, and have already told my boss I'm coming in late tomorrow because I've been here late pretty often. looking forward to that a whole lot, let me tell you!
You all will be relieved to hear that our important papers did turn up... in my bin of "to be filed" papers. Which, I suppose, was technically the right place for them! (I did make them a file folder of their very own, at last.)
Woo, Kate!!! I *am* relieved!
Yay Kate!!
Msbelle I have often felt like that lately. Bored, but not energetic enough to really do much about it. I've been playing a lot of solitaire, which is...probably not healthy
We had a story in San Francisco about a deranged gentleman who screams at women on the streetcar and terrified some kids and the powers that be just can't do a thing because he's a white dude with an address and certifiable mental illness.
I wondered how long that would go on until someone tried vigilante justice. I expect eventually his luck will run out.
No Natter today? I sort of don't have enough work to do this week, which I guess means I should do work on longer-terms projects, but who wants to do that? Not I!
