Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

Our wings are not tired.

Home with pup. She is still feeling lethargic, but I am much less worried. Cooking a bunch of chicken and rice to make her tasty food. I'll freeze a lot of it.

Having to work for a living is unfortunate. Most of the time I enjoy my work enough, but it being optional would be much nicer.

Gud, are things better this week on the job front? Settling in?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Here you go, Matt. It's called a bomb cyclone, which you have to admit is a pretty sweet name.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Crap, I am sniffling a whole lot. Last night I really went to town brushing all the loose fur off Spare Cat of which there was an abundance -- in fact, so much that I ended up changing into new pajamas before I went to bed lest I get more-than-the-usual-amount of cat hairs on my sheets and pillows.

I wonder now how much cat dander I managed to inhale. Mostly because I don't want this to be a cold.

Our wings are not tired.

Huh. Apparently Facebook is down, for me and a lot of other people.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Me too.

Our wings are not tired.

I wouldn't have noticed so much except I just started moderating the NYT's readers group and have been checking in there on a regular basis. Guess I can take that off the list of things to do today!

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Finally, I can post! My computer's been wonky all morning and refused to let me type in the little box. Dammit, I want to try to contribute!

Yay, Zoe!

And then I keep thinking about the whole "dudes apply for jobs when they have 40% of the qualifications" or whatever, and that's how I ended up looking at this company where my equivalent person has so little experience.

Thanks for the reminder, meara. Definitely need to get looking more seriously. (Just heard from supervisor that they decided not to hire this person they've been interviewing, and she has to make sure that the three of us on her team are "ready to cover" her stuff when she's gone [retiring in just under a month]. But I'm assuming the shitty annual review is going to be an excuse to give me a shitty/no raise this year. So, no raise to do that much more work. Who's surprised I'm looking for the exit?) I need to remember not to be intimidated by these job descriptions that list 8 bajillion things and try to think "like a man" about it.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Instagram, also.

Our wings are not tired.

The swear it isn't a DDoS attack. But I didn't hear any other good reason.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

FB being down is super annoying today because it is my work from home day and I was listing several things for sale for myself and my friend.
