Timelies all!
Happy Birthday Cindy!
52 is too fucking young to die. (My personal view: Younger than my parents-too young; my age-too fucking young; younger than me-way the fuck too young.)
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I hope you get paid well, Dana. That is a lot of up to put with.
I did go to the Career Center thing, but it was mostly aimed at the newly unemployed. (I found out there are some great resources for them, however, which makes me happy with my Commonwealth. Oh, and the ex-con from Friday was there, taking lots of notes, so yay him.)
However I was able to snag a relatively quick set to rides to and from Cambridge to Jamaica Plain/Brookline and back to Cambridge, and I pulled onto my street just as the Snow Emergency was cancelled which meant I had my choice of newly-re-legalled parking spaces.

Wrod, on all counts.
Happy Birthday, Cindy!
Happy Birthday, Cindy!!!
How is it only Monday?
I know, right? I just texted a supervisor at work that I wouldn't be coming in tomorrow but I'll try for the day after and I was really pretty sure that that would be Thursday.
Similarly, I'm catching up on old podcasts and started listening to the first December '18 WWDTM and they are all talking about Michael Cohen and it's very confusing. I may have come unstuck in time.
Happy belated birthday, Cindy!
Thinking of Gud as well.
Belated Happy Birthday, Cindy!
Happy belated, Cindy!
Gud, I hope you can hear what folks here are saying. We value you and want you to have the good life you deserve.
Dana, we're hiring tech writers, just saying. Contractors, for now, but with intention to flip if they work out. I just had to let one go last week, unfortunately. She couldn't incorporate feedback at all and was just not a good writer. I don't feel bad about firing her but I feel bad she got through our hiring process. She had what looked like a tight resume and interviewed well so I don't know. The other 2 contractors we hired at the same time are doing great.
Long-distance tech writers? I think I'm permanently bonded to my couch now.
