Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Are you sure you're not in an improv comedy sketch?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Well, we shouldn't have Yes or No, we should only have No, because if the answer is Yes, they should just complete it and move it to the next stage, except that's not how my PM does it and that's not how her PM does it and my PM definitely won't change but your PM is wrong and what do we do with an ESL programmer who might be confused by some words and I don't like this word but I don't have a suggestion for another word but your word definitely won't work.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I also have sad news this morning. Yesterday morning, my cat Joey was listless and showed a very un-Joeylike lack of interest in breakfast. The vet did some bloodwork and found his kidney values were off the charts.

Joey was promptly sent to an emergency hospital and hooked up to an IV. Through the evening, he showed small encouraging signs of improvement. But around midnight, his kidney values worsened and he developed trouble breathing. A few hours later, his breathing was getting worse. At 5:15 this morning, Joey was put to sleep.

Joey was the kidney donor for Arthur. He was 7 years old.

Dana, your meeting needs a soundtrack involving circus music.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm so sorry, Fred.

Good luck to your parents, sarameg. I totally get the spray-paint the offending curb urge. It's probably worth doing, too!

Dana, your meeting needs a soundtrack involving circus music.

Yes!

I managed to leave my umbrella in the car WHILE IT IS RAINING because I am that talented at forgetting my umbrella. I usually forget it somewhere after it has stopped raining, so I feel like I have achieved a new level.
